Frontend / Product Engineer

Work as a Product Engineer within the Advertising ecosystem, supporting products that reach millions of users across Mercado Libre and external platforms.

Build high-traffic frontend features using React, Next.js, Nordic, and GraphQL. Deliver internal marketing campaign experiences surfaced on key marketplace entry points, and collaborate with Product, Design, and backend teams using Figma, Golang, Node.js, and BFF services.

Use observability and monitoring platforms including Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic, along with Spec Driven Development and AI-assisted workflows using Cursor, Claude, GPT, and Spec Kit.

Led frontend technical direction and UX best practices across a technology organization of more than 20 people. Owned the end-to-end delivery of a new prepaid card product built from scratch.

Designed a secure React SPA architecture integrated with BFF and REST proxy services, reducing infrastructure complexity and operational cost. Implemented modular and hexagonal architecture patterns to improve maintainability and scalability.

Built and maintained user platforms, internal collections tools, landing pages, blog systems, and marketing automation channels across email and WhatsApp. Worked with React, TypeScript, Flask, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Metabase.

Worked on the Conversion team, focusing on funnels, onboarding, checkout, and user acquisition flows.

Delivered a redesigned digital experience for Compara Colombia, improving usability and conversion. Developed customer-facing experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

Partnered with UX and UI teams and contributed to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
