I am an accounting professional with more than five years of experience across government, education, healthcare, and private-sector environments. I hold a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Accountancy and have developed strong expertise in financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.
I have performed monthly bank, revenue, and general ledger reconciliations, identified discrepancies, processed corrective journal entries, and maintained accurate financial records. My experience includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, debtors management, cash flow support, and the preparation of financial and management reports.
I am highly skilled in using accounting systems, including Promun Accounting System and LADS AFRICA System, to capture transactions, validate financial data, and support accurate reporting. I also use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to organize information, analyze data, and communicate financial results.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Analytics at Quinnipiac University, where I am developing advanced capabilities in data-driven decision-making, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence. I am interested in applying analytical methods to improve financial planning, operational efficiency, and performance evaluation.
In addition to my professional experience, I have supported students as a Global Partner Volunteer and served as an Assistant Treasurer for a church. These roles have strengthened my communication, collaboration, organizational, and stakeholder-support skills.
I bring a detail-oriented, ethical, and accountable approach to financial operations. I am motivated to contribute to organizations that value accurate reporting, process improvement, analytical thinking, and sound financial management.
