Community Leader and Special Needs Coach & Mentor

I am a community-focused leader, health ambassador, and special needs coach and mentor based in Singapore. I am passionate about supporting children, youth, families, and vulnerable communities through counselling, mentoring, health promotion, and community initiatives.

I have contributed to public health and crime prevention efforts as a Health Ambassador with the Health Promotion Board and a Crime Prevention Ambassador with the National Crime Prevention Council. My work is grounded in building trust, promoting wellbeing, and connecting people with practical support.

I have experience coaching and mentoring special needs youth, including through Food for a Social Cause. As a mother of a child with special needs, I bring empathy, lived experience, and a strong commitment to inclusion when supporting families and young people.

I serve in grassroots and community leadership capacities, including roles related to Kampong Chai Chee and Linear Green RN. My responsibilities have included community organizing, event coordination, auditing, welfare initiatives, stakeholder coordination, and leadership development.

I have completed training in psychology and counselling, special needs education, AAC communication, lifestyle intervention, service management, emotional intelligence, infection prevention, and community leadership. I am also an active writer and advocate on education, kindness, and special needs inclusion.

I enjoy volunteering, organizing events, helping the community, and working with children and teenagers. I aim to use my counselling, communication, mentoring, and leadership skills to create positive social impact.
