Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

I work on a healthcare project and manage a small team. The platform supports interactions between patients, hospitals, clinics, doctors, and nurses, including historical medical records, discharge protocols, and clinical communication.

I work with Ruby on Rails for APIs, Sidekiq processing, and the administrative back office. The product includes React and React Native web and mobile applications, with services deployed in AWS using Docker containers.

I worked on the platform team supporting the core functionality of an investment business platform. My work covered platform-operation alarms, data synchronization and movement, calculations, data imports, and APIs for a new payment journey and React frontend.

The stack used Ruby on Rails, legacy jQuery, React, MySQL, Sidekiq, Redis, Docker, AWS, and Buildkite. I also contributed to the migration of the stack to Docker-based AWS infrastructure and supported a large administrative area for campaign operations.

I worked across multiple applications, delivering backend and frontend bug fixes and new features for a Refer a Friend platform. Many of the systems were back-office applications supporting campaign reporting and analysis.

The environment included Ruby on Rails, CoffeeScript, Vue.js, Golang, Elixir, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Google BigQuery, Sidekiq, Redis, Heroku, Docker, AWS, and CircleCI.

I built new applications and features and maintained customer-facing and back-office systems. Customer applications used Ruby, Sinatra, Vue.js, Middleman, and PostgreSQL, while back-office services supported warehouse stock and customer-service workflows.

I worked with Ruby on Rails and Sinatra for message-event and payment processing, alongside Golang workers in Iron.io. Applications were Docker-based, managed with Rancher and Cloudflare, tested with RSpec, and deployed through CI pipelines.

I built and improved CI/CD capabilities for the web development team. This included creating an AWS deployment tool using fog-aws and CloudFormation templates to orchestrate zero-downtime blue-green deployments.

I also developed a fake API proxy for request recording and playback, customized a Docker-based Selenium Grid for cross-browser testing, and maintained internal libraries used to configure and execute test builds. Technologies included Ruby, RSpec, Sinatra, AWS, Docker, Selenium Grid, Cucumber, Jenkins, Chef, and Puppet.

I worked in a continuous integration environment to develop an internal automated testing framework. The framework helped identify root causes of issues during the development lifecycle and supported quality validation for project releases.

I applied BDD and TDD practices using Cucumber and Ruby, maintained reusable internal Ruby libraries, and helped control releases through an internal web page integrated with Jenkins and Jira. The work included RSpec, Watir-WebDriver, MongoDB, SOAP, REST, WSDL, and Sinatra.

I developed and supported an internal automation testing framework in a Jenkins-based continuous integration environment. I performed stack-trace analysis and debugging to validate scenarios and identify root causes before software and architecture solutions were delivered.

I used Ruby, Cucumber, Watir-WebDriver, RSpec, BDD, and TDD to build automated tests. I also worked with JavaScript, Git, SVN, MySQL, SOAP web services, XML, XPath, Linux, shell scripting, Oracle, JRuby, Jira, and Agile/Scrum practices.

I developed supervisor and alarm-management projects and monitored NGIN platforms at PT Inovação. I also contributed to test automation and continuous integration initiatives.

My work involved Red Hat Linux, HP-UX, Zabbix, Perl, Bash, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, Ruby, Cucumber, and Jenkins.

I completed a scholarship-supported final graduation project involving the design and implementation of a wireless broadband network for the town of Memoria.

I planned the network architecture, configured MikroTik and Ubiquiti equipment, installed and oriented antennas, implemented encryption and routing protocols, created a client database, implemented QoS, and performed troubleshooting.
