Senior Full-Stack Engineer & Architect — Fintech & Web3

I lead architecture and ship code, at YC and TechStars startup speed.

15+ years building high-traffic platforms. Architect at three Y Combinator companies and TechStars, plus Senior Architect on Abbott's loyalty platform via IBM. I led the frontend of a lending platform moving $20M+ every month, and shipped a payroll system that pays thousands of gig workers on time, every time.

Fintech is where I go deep: SPEI transfers, CFDI invoicing, OTP and biometric auth, banking infrastructure for institutions with none of their own. I've also shipped Web3 in production: a DeFi lending platform, a decentralized exchange, and on-chain messaging on EOS.

Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS. I still write code every day, not just diagrams.

I lead distributed teams (up to 12 engineers) and I've mentored 100+ engineers across Latin America. Based in Mexico, full US timezone overlap. Open to senior/staff roles or contract work.
