AI Engineer

I am a Computer Engineer focused on Artificial Intelligence Engineering and intelligent systems. I specialize in building practical AI-driven applications that combine data engineering, predictive modeling, automation, and modern backend development.

I have hands-on experience developing automated ETL pipelines, preparing and validating datasets, and designing resilient data workflows. My work includes handling structured and unstructured data, data quality issues, encoding corrections, deduplication, and analytical storage using columnar formats.

I develop machine learning solutions using ensemble algorithms, feature engineering, temporal validation, and hyperparameter optimization. I have worked with Random Forest, XGBoost, Monte Carlo simulation, Poisson distributions, ELO ratings, and performance evaluation metrics such as Log Loss, accuracy, and recall.

I also build Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems that combine vector search with structured data. I have designed hybrid RAG architectures using LangChain, ChromaDB, HuggingFace embeddings, DuckDB, FastAPI, and LLM APIs.

I enjoy transforming experimental scripts into modular, production-oriented applications. I am comfortable creating asynchronous APIs, interactive dashboards, automated CI/CD workflows, and user-facing web interfaces.

I am a native Portuguese speaker with fluent English and working proficiency in Spanish and German. I am eligible for the ATIVAR.pt / IEFP professional internship program and am motivated to begin my career in AI engineering and intelligent systems.
