About

Professional summary

I am a Backend Software Engineer with more than seven years of experience building reliable systems for banking, card processing, logistics, and customer-facing digital products. I specialize in Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed architectures.

I design resilient backend services that handle scheduled processing, batch files, retries, idempotency, distributed locks, integrations, and high-volume workflows. My work includes data integration across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, with a strong focus on maintainability and operational reliability.

At Santander Tecnología Argentina, I maintain and evolve a distributed ecosystem for card logistics and digital banking. I have delivered automation for card blocking and reprinting, notification campaigns, correspondent pickup flows, Kotlin greenfield services, platform migrations, and TypeScript BFF endpoints.

I am also the founder and engineer behind Reals, a pre-production Android dating application. I own its product direction and end-to-end implementation across a Kotlin/Spring Boot backend, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose Android application, Firebase, and AWS infrastructure.

I value quality, observability, and pragmatic delivery. I use automated testing, CI/CD, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, technical documentation, and AI-assisted engineering workflows to analyze repositories, implement changes, review architecture, and improve code safely.

My background in Electronic Engineering and signal processing strengthens my analytical approach to software design. I am comfortable collaborating across technical and business domains, mentoring developers, and translating complex operational requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Career history

Software Engineer Santander Tecnologia Argentina

I maintain and evolve a nationwide distributed backend ecosystem for card logistics and digital banking. I integrate card, account, and customer-domain services through Apigee-secured OAuth 2.0 REST APIs, scheduled jobs, batch processing, Oracle databases, and MongoDB stores.

I automated card-blocking and reprint workflows, created a scheduled notification service, built a gateway for Pago Fácil and Rapipago pickup operations, and delivered the area’s first greenfield Kotlin and Spring Boot service. I also contributed to platform migration work, OpenShift deployments, GitHub-based CI/CD workflows, and a TypeScript/NestJS BFF for cardless withdrawals.

Founder & Software Engineer Reals

I designed and built a pre-production Android dating app focused on compatibility, text-first interaction, progressive profile reveal, staged conversations, and user-safety workflows. I own product definition, technical direction, and delivery across backend and Android repositories.

I engineered a Kotlin/Spring Boot backend on Java 21 and a Kotlin/Jetpack Compose Android app supporting authentication, profiles, matchmaking, messaging, scheduling, attendance, no-show handling, and account security. I deployed an AWS development environment using GitHub Actions OIDC, SSM, EC2, Docker, private RDS PostgreSQL, and private S3 storage.

Full Stack Developer Certant

I delivered end-to-end corporate banking functionality for Itaú Uruguay using legacy Java 4 and Java 7 applications, JavaScript, jQuery, Oracle, Maven, XML integrations, and manually deployed WAR packages. I implemented financial workflows involving validation, roles, approvals, guarantees, back-office operations, and payment integrations.

I improved high-volume screens through query, retrieval, and pagination optimization while adapting to changing provider rules and business requirements. I became a key technical and functional reference in a reduced team, trained new developers, and contributed backend work to a Java 8 service-oriented banking platform for Banco Comafi.
