Professional summary

I am a dedicated primary school teacher and early years educator with experience supporting children across infant, primary and special education settings. I am passionate about creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where every child can develop confidence and reach their potential.

I have strong experience in early literacy, numeracy, play-based learning and supporting children’s social and emotional development. I plan differentiated learning programmes that respond to individual abilities, strengths, goals and learning styles.

I currently work in an autism class, supporting autistic pupils with a broad range of learning and developmental needs. I use structured teaching approaches, visual supports and individualised strategies to promote communication, understanding, independence and meaningful engagement.

I have also taught English as a second language in and outside school settings, as well as online Mathematics and Irish lessons. I enjoy helping learners develop their English language, communication and confidence through patient, encouraging and tailored teaching.

My early childhood education background has given me practical experience in observation, assessment, reflective practice, team leadership and managing daily childcare operations. I value collaboration with parents, special needs assistants and multidisciplinary teams to provide consistent support for children.

I am adaptable, supportive and enthusiastic about combining my classroom experience, online teaching skills and passion for English to help learners from around the world succeed.
