Cybersecurity and Network Engineer

I am a Telematics Engineer focused on network infrastructure and information security. My background includes cybersecurity management, network engineering, security policy implementation, firewall support, and network segmentation.

I have experience monitoring security events, managing incidents, and supporting forensic investigation activities. I am comfortable working with security operations processes and helping protect enterprise network environments.

In my network engineering work, I have implemented and administered network security policies and supported firewall and segmentation initiatives. My technical foundation includes routing, switching, Python, and SQL.

I currently work as an IT Cybersecurity Management Engineer at Banco de Reservas in Santo Domingo. Previously, I held roles in network engineering, security monitoring, and B2C technical support.

I am pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and am particularly interested in expanding my knowledge of network security and Fortinet technologies. I hold Fortinet cybersecurity certifications and continue developing my security operations expertise.

I communicate in English and Portuguese and bring experience working in Dominican Republic enterprise and telecommunications environments.
