Own the application architecture and hands-on engineering of client platforms at a mission-critical software company (financial + AI), operated 24x7.
• White-label banking-as-a-service platform: digital accounts, PIX, cards, boleto, batch payments — ~38 microservices, 1,004 REST endpoints, 130 domain entities, 4 banking providers behind one API, 6 brands from one build. Load-tested to 80 TPS; dimensioned for hundreds of thousands of tx/month and billions of BRL.
• Money-movement safety by design: idempotency keys, event sourcing, SQS FIFO + DLQ, circuit breakers/retries.
• Production AI: durable conversational agents on Temporal.io + LangGraph (OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini) with corrective RAG and Langfuse; voice AI over WebRTC handling WhatsApp calls (Cartesia TTS, Gemini Realtime, VAD, barge-in, AI-to-human warm transfer).
• Application observability instrumented in the code (OpenTelemetry, structured logging). The platform runs on AWS/Kubernetes with infrastructure managed as code by the DevOps team; my focus is architecture and code.

Six years of continuous delivery for US companies (remote, in English) across AI education, sports/media, insurtech, healthcare, and fintech.
• TeacherAI — Tech Lead: rewrote the entire AI tutoring engine (Node.js, TypeScript, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Azure AI) in ~3 months with zero disruption to active users; ran AWS infra as code in Terraform incl. a managed Kafka cluster.
• Utility (Webby Agency of the Year 2024): backend API for the NBA's fan engagement app (15,000 users) — Fastify/NestJS, ffmpeg media pipeline, CloudFront signed URLs.
• Health IQ: migrated the platform from Ruby to Node.js with a Next.js front end and NestJS services; Salesforce + Oracle Eloqua, 10DLC SMS.
• AdventHealth, Finexio, Guideline (via Concepta Tech): patient portal integrated with Salesforce; B2B financial cost-management portal (React/Node.js); retirement-planning features.

Banking-as-a-service / payments infrastructure.
• Led a ~40-person engineering organization after scope expanded from mobile to the full engineering org.
• Drove the transition of software development from outsourced to in-house.
• Contributed to the sale of BPP to Dock; chose to return to hands-on senior engineering afterward.

Architecture and hands-on engineering across client engagements (full CI&T tenure 2014–2018).
• Built Android apps for Itaú, Brazil's largest bank: bills & payments and digital wallet products totaling 10M+ downloads (Tokpag, Pague Contas, Card).
• Defined project architectures for Bradesco, Cielo, and Johnson & Johnson.
• Delivered an international healthcare product for diabetes management.
