Most developers list technologies. I solve problems that cost businesses money.
I'm a full-stack software engineer who builds and maintains web applications for SaaS platforms, fintech products, and business tools. Laravel backend, React frontend, and the judgment to know which problems need code and which need architecture.
My most recent role was on a multi-tenant compliance platform serving 300+ organizations. When a critical dashboard started timing out as the customer base grew, I traced it to 200+ database queries firing per page load, refactored the data layer, and brought it down to under 400ms. When compliance notifications stopped arriving reliably, I diagnosed a queue bottleneck where heavy report jobs were starving lightweight alerts, separated them into priority queues, and notifications started landing within seconds. That's the kind of work I do. Not just building features, but making sure they hold up when real users depend on them.
Outside of that role, I've independently architected and shipped production systems from scratch. A multi-service ordering platform that processes real transactions today. A real-time matching engine using geospatial queries and queue-driven workflows for coordinating public transport in Accra. Each project pushed me into territory no job required, because I wanted to understand how systems actually work, not just how to use a framework.
I use AI tools, primarily Claude, as a core part of how I develop. Not as a crutch, but as a multiplier. It handles the mechanical work faster so I can focus on the decisions that actually require judgment. Every line still gets reviewed and tested by me.
What I bring: Laravel, React, Vue.js, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Cloudflare, API integrations, payment systems, multi-tenant architecture, and the ability to step into an existing codebase and improve it without breaking what already works.
Open to full-time roles, contracts, and long-term freelance partnerships. If your application needs to be built right, fixed properly, or scaled without downtime, let's talk.
