Senior Backend Engineer

I develop and maintain backend RESTful APIs for SaaS education products, including Portal Sekolah and Portal Kampus. My work supports online student admission, learning management, metrics dashboards, student counseling, achievement tracking, violation tracking, talent management, and gradebook functionality for students, parents, and school administrators.

I led the API migration from version 1 to version 2 while coordinating with frontend teams to preserve backward compatibility. I also built a Celery watcher service for monitoring active Celery workers and message brokers, and I lead refactoring efforts that improve stability, performance, and code maintainability.

I worked on an Asset Integrity Management System for Pertamina WMO. I developed backend modules for anomaly tracking, including LOPC and Anomaly Plan/Do workflows, asset inspections, and corrective action management.

I integrated the application with third-party data sources and enterprise services in a complex infrastructure environment. My responsibilities included supporting backend functionality across asset inspection methods such as CIPS and DCVG.

I designed and developed RESTful API and GraphQL services for one of Indonesia's largest B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms. I conducted API testing and documentation, integrated services with frontend applications, and collaborated with cross-functional product teams.

I optimized database queries and backend logic for high-traffic production workloads, performed code reviews, and maintained code quality across development and staging branches. I also refactored a static content service from Python to Golang, improving response speed and reducing resource consumption, while resolving production incidents to improve platform reliability.

I resolved defects in existing system features and developed new Asset Inspection and Asset Assessment modules. The work supported asset integrity workflows backed by SQL databases.

I managed PostgreSQL and MySQL databases and optimized queries to improve data integrity, application performance, and reliability of operational workflows.

I developed application features based on client requirements and delivered web and backend functionality for consulting projects. I built middleware that integrated Raspberry Pi-based attendance hardware with backend systems.

I coordinated with client project managers on implementation progress, reporting, and deployment activities, including projects involving Kominfo.

I maintained local network infrastructure and provided day-to-day IT support for users and internal systems. I assisted with operational troubleshooting and technical maintenance.

I also supported monthly reporting activities, helping maintain accurate operational and technical records.

I developed web-based applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework. I implemented application features to support business and client requirements.

This role established my foundation in web application development, backend logic, and delivering maintainable software functionality.
