Senior Backend / Full-Stack Engineer and Technical Lead

I lead engineering for an enterprise HR management SaaS platform serving more than 63 clients and 7,000 users. I own backend architecture, system design, infrastructure, CI/CD, code review, and engineering-team coordination using Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, Celery, and Redis.

I rescued a legacy migration that had been stalled for two years by re-architecting the Django monolith and delivering a zero-downtime production launch within five months. I maintain an event-driven backend that processes thousands of daily asynchronous operations across more than 952 database migrations.

I directed the migration from AWS serverless infrastructure to a Docker-based Hetzner environment, reducing costs by 89%, from approximately $3,500 to $400 per month. I also established GitHub Actions and Ruff-based CI/CD practices and built a LangChain and ChromaDB RAG knowledge-base chatbot to automate customer support workflows.

I designed and delivered Django REST Framework and FastAPI microservices, REST APIs, and Next.js/React front ends in a fast-paced remote-first startup environment.

I developed a facial-recognition microservice API using Python, Django, Docker, and GitHub Actions CI/CD. I also built an end-to-end customer onboarding platform integrating external APIs, camera systems, authentication, and payment gateways.

I created a FastAPI and Celery document conversion and indexing API for asynchronous large-document workflows. In addition, I maintained and scaled a coworking reservation platform integrated with facial-recognition services through Django REST Framework APIs.

I developed an IoT data visualization platform with Django, integrating hardware sensors, firmware, and real-time data pipelines.

I programmed microcontroller firmware and created web interfaces for monitoring IoT devices using Python and JavaScript.

I designed event-driven IoT control systems using ESP32 devices, AWS IoT, AWS Lambda, MQTT messaging, and Node.js backend services.

I contributed across firmware, cloud integration, messaging, and backend development to support connected-device control workflows.
