Telecommunications Engineer

I am a Telecommunications Engineer with experience in monitoring station-management and submarine-cable systems. I verify transmission equipment operation and support reliable telecommunications infrastructure.

I have hands-on knowledge of fiber optics, structured cabling, optical link calculations, fiber connections, splicing, power measurement, and OTDR reflectometry. I am also familiar with surveys, equipment installation, and network monitoring.

I provide technical support involving hardware and software, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repair, upgrades, and network supervision. My background includes supporting Windows environments and network card installation.

I have completed training in routing and switching, network fundamentals, VoIP, Cisco QoS, CiscoWorks LMS, and network security. I am comfortable working with transmission systems and network infrastructure.
