QA Automation Engineer

I led the upgrade of the NextGen production smoke-test automation framework from version 1 to version 2. I redesigned the architecture for scalable, brand-agnostic testing across multiple brands and environments, separating configuration, API, browser-session, and UI layers.

I built reusable Playwright fixtures, utilities, and test components to improve readability, maintainability, and extensibility while reducing duplicated setup logic. I also implemented centralized configuration, multi-environment execution across staging, test, and production, and brand-specific feature flags.

I perform regression and sanity testing for releases and critical changes, combining automated smoke coverage with targeted manual validation. I integrated smoke and regression tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures and defects, analyze root causes, and collaborate with developers to validate fixes and prevent regressions.

I performed manual and automated testing across application features and release cycles, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios. I designed and maintained test cases from functional requirements and user workflows, with focus on high-risk scenarios and edge cases.

I developed and maintained automation for recurring regression scenarios, reducing repetitive manual validation and improving release confidence. I also performed API testing to validate service behavior, request and response contracts, error handling, and integrations between application components.

I investigated test failures and defects, documented reproduction steps, collaborated with developers on root-cause analysis, and verified fixes. I supported the transition from manual QA to automation and worked with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC to improve product quality.

I developed and maintained full-stack web applications using Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js. I contributed to both frontend and backend components, including reusable UI components, backend services, and API integrations.

I debugged and resolved software defects by tracing issues across frontend and backend systems. I performed functional validation and troubleshooting of newly implemented features to identify and address defects early in the development lifecycle.

I collaborated with software engineers and QA teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve application quality. My work included implementation, testing, debugging, code review, and production support across the SDLC.
