Automation / DevSecOps Engineer

I manage test automation efforts supporting regression testing for Macy's core shopping platform. I develop and maintain automation capabilities for a major enterprise e-commerce environment.

I implemented a multi-environment CI/CD pipeline across Sauce Labs and the front-end platform. I also developed an end-to-end component testing suite for a custom UI platform library and coordinate with stakeholders on major core-platform changes.

I managed automation efforts for fully automated data transformation and designed an architecture for data quality testing across multiple data models. I partnered with the data engineering team in a complex data-governance environment.

I implemented a multi-environment CI/CD pipeline and used Databricks, Azure DevOps, and dbt data transformation libraries to support reliable data validation and delivery.

I led test automation across frontend, backend, performance, and security testing contexts for a multi-platform gaming application. I managed test planning and developed risk-assessment proposals to improve product quality.

I tested blockchain-based payment services for secure and efficient operation, evaluated external codebase deliveries, and addressed product-development gaps affecting user experience, risk, and product hardening. I also created web, mobile, and visual automation solutions for native devices.

I managed code merges and supported an end-to-end test codebase used across the product team. I conducted test planning and validated project work items to support dependable releases.

I created test-pipeline scenarios spanning integrations across a broad technology stack and coordinated with DevOps on CI/CD, performance, and load testing. I also supported junior DevOps activities involving Helm implementation, CI transitions, and cloud infrastructure considerations.

I worked with a range of client and internal projects, including JMMB, Vessel Health, Evidation, Truist, and NBC Universal. As part of the internal Infrastructure and Security team, I supported maintenance and initiatives related to physical security and cybersecurity.

I conducted security audits and implemented updates to protect public-facing applications against OWASP Top Ten threats. I also trained recruits on software testing, SDLC, and Agile methodologies, and assisted with CI/CD infrastructure and development, staging, and production environment implementation.

I worked on the quality assurance team within the organization's first Agile Transformational Lab for its online mortgage platform. I performed manual testing for new features and API testing for backend development.

I developed and maintained manual and automated regression test suites and integrated automated tests into Azure Pipelines. I also provided quality assurance, risk-management, and project guidance.

I supported new product implementations and delivered user training. I resolved technical support issues for internal users and systems.

I conducted minor computer hardware repairs and warranty servicing. I also supported physical inventory audit and maintenance activities.

Completed a six-week hands-on immersive software testing bootcamp covering Agile methodologies, test case creation, test plans, testing methodologies, test case management tools, and practical project work.

Graduated with Second Class Honors, majoring in Enterprise Computing.
