Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

I lead QA efforts for Java, Selenium, and TestNG automation projects, improving test coverage and owning end-to-end test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and release-quality activities.

I designed and built a Playwright UI automation framework using TypeScript and JavaScript, with reusable page objects, fixtures, configuration, parallel execution, and cross-browser support. I integrate automated suites with Maven, Jenkins, and Git, conduct functional and non-functional testing, mentor junior engineers, and present QA metrics and dashboards to stakeholders.

I performed functional and non-functional testing for FX trading exchange and credit platforms. I developed automated test scripts using Java, Python, and Cucumber, and used MindManager to map requirements, scenarios, dependencies, and feature breakdowns.

I validated REST APIs with Postman and curl and executed performance and load tests with JMeter and LoadRunner. I partnered with DevOps and engineering teams to resolve Jenkins pipeline and regression-environment issues, analyzed bottlenecks, introduced an API Test Case Generation Tool, and contributed to defect triage and Agile process improvement.

I automated web application testing using Selenium WebDriver and Core Java, and developed API automation suites using Java and Rest Assured. I also performed manual API validation with Postman.

I created and maintained JMeter performance-testing scripts, test plans, procedures, and test cases for telecommunications system integration testing. I supported junior QA engineers, reviewed test strategies, and tracked defects through resolution.

I designed Java-based automated test frameworks using JUnit and automated web application tests with Selenium WebDriver and Core Java. I performed API testing with Postman and used Maven for build automation in continuous integration workflows.

I built and maintained performance-testing scripts for release validation, created test cases and test matrices, collaborated directly with clients on requirements and test design, and improved test strategies while tracking and reporting defects.

I developed Scala and Apache Spark code using Spark SQL and DataFrames for data aggregation. I used Spark to ingest and retrieve data from relational sources including Oracle Database and PostgreSQL.

I built Apache NiFi flows and end-to-end tests for vendor-specific orchestration requirements. I also developed NiFi data pipelines in Docker-based development environments and gained experience in parser development, data streaming, and real-time data processing.

I worked as a frontend developer using AngularJS and Vue.js, contributing ideas to improve the efficiency and user experience of an ongoing project.

I also created test cases to support software quality, strengthening my analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of development and testing workflows.
