Data Science / AI Trainee innomatics research labs
At Innomatics Research Labs, I focused on strengthening my practical skills in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. I worked on hands-on projects involving data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, machine learning models, and AI-based applications.
I gained practical experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn, SQL, and basic NLP/Generative AI concepts. I worked with real-world datasets, performed data cleaning and preprocessing, analyzed patterns and trends, and developed machine learning models for prediction and classification tasks.
As part of my project work, I also developed AI-focused applications such as an AI chatbot, professor/course-related application, and virtual mental health support application. These projects helped me understand how to move from an idea and raw data to a working application while improving my problem-solving, analytical, and programming skills.
The training gave me practical exposure to the complete data science workflow, including data collection, preprocessing, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and application development. It also helped me become more comfortable applying theoretical concepts to real-world problems.
