Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

I maintain and develop automated test cases for a single sign-on and service provider provisioning solution using a framework built with Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber. I perform end-to-end QA activities from requirements and technical design review through manual and automated test execution, feedback, and defect reporting.

I create test plans and test cases with a focus on automation coverage, manage defects in Redmine and Kiwi TCMS, and contribute to root cause analysis and process improvements. I spearheaded an API test automation initiative using Postman, perform MySQL and MongoDB database testing, participate in ETL validation, and maintain internal setup and test-domain documentation.

I collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and mentor QA engineers through coaching and performance support.

I led end-to-end QA test cycles for an insurtech web application, including test analysis, planning, test case creation, execution, management, reporting, and product release support. I automated product onboarding workflows using Python and SeleniumBase.

I validated data integrity in AWS DynamoDB and tested event and session tracking, including conversion goals, through Google Analytics. I worked across teams during requirements refinement, development, release, and product demonstrations.

As a Junior Project Manager, I supported planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, cross-team coordination, and project documentation. I continued part-time QA support for the team from October 2021 until early 2024.

I served as Chairperson of Communications for Dev8, a nonprofit organization in Leyte, Philippines that connects students and professionals in the technology industry.

I oversaw public relations and social media management using Facebook, while also assisting with event management. This was a pro-bono volunteer role.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
