About

Professional summary

I am a .NET software developer based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with experience building and supporting backend services, REST APIs, SQL Server solutions, and Azure-hosted application infrastructure.

I work primarily with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and JWT authentication. I enjoy designing reliable backend functionality, improving application performance, and resolving production issues through structured troubleshooting.

In my current role, I have contributed to shared authentication services, WPF application enhancements, Azure-hosted reverse-proxy infrastructure, video-streaming deployments, and health-monitoring services for large camera environments.

I have experience collaborating across distributed teams and working with cloud services, DevOps tooling, local infrastructure, VPN connectivity, and restricted-permission environments. I take ownership of cross-application needs and focus on maintainable, standardized solutions.

I also have full-stack internship experience building internal ticket-management functionality with ASP.NET, Razor, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. I communicate clearly, adapt to operational requirements, and work effectively with teammates to deliver practical solutions.

I am a U.S. citizen authorized to work in the United States and am open to relocation.

Enhanced and supported an internal WPF application used by staff to monitor live camera feeds, delivering functionality based on operational needs and resolving reported defects.

Designed an autoscaling Azure-hosted YARP proxy with hash-based routing and session affinity for video-stream segment requests. Improved EF Core query performance, collaborated on Azure DevOps, Azure Artifacts, Front Door, Application Gateway, and App Service configuration, and integrated Azure-hosted applications with local infrastructure through VPN connectivity.

Configured a two-instance go2rtc deployment for GPU-enabled H.265-to-H.264 transcoding and general streaming. Stabilized a daily health-monitoring service for more than 1,000 cameras by diagnosing memory leaks and thread-management issues, reducing restart requirements and identifying cameras needing technician support.
