Senior QA Automation Engineer

I lead backend, API, database, and UI test automation for banking-as-a-service systems. I designed and maintained automation architecture using Java, REST Assured, TypeScript, and Playwright, while mentoring eight engineers through code reviews and automation coaching.

I reduced flaky tests from 15% to under 2% across a 7,365-test suite and reduced API/database pipeline runtime from 10 hours to 4.5 hours through sharding, parallel execution, custom fixtures, and isolation strategies. I own regression cycles, support API and database validation, introduced Gatling performance testing, integrated LLM-as-a-Judge validation into CI/CD, and delivered QA KPI reporting to leadership.

I built a UI automation framework from the ground up using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, JUnit, and Maven. I converted manual test cases into scalable Gherkin scenario outlines and maintained test plans, smoke suites, and regression suites.

I performed structured manual validation across application components, investigated defects through root cause analysis using logs and network inspection, and managed the full defect lifecycle in Jira. I executed remote regression cycles through Jenkins and prioritized issues based on severity and priority.

I conducted manual, data-driven UI, and API automation testing based on software acceptance criteria. I used Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Apache POI to validate e-commerce workflows and support repeatable test execution.

I designed and executed smoke and regression test plans during deployment windows to support production stability. I also performed database validation using JDBC and SQL Developer, along with API CRUD and contract verification using Postman and REST Assured.
