- Co-founded and operate a two-person software development and consulting agency maintaining a portfolio of approximately 10-20 clients at a time; act as primary technical consultant and delivery owner across discovery, proposals/SOWs, architecture, estimation, implementation, deployment, training, support, and account management.

- Led integration of Entrata's frequently changing, poorly documented API into a custom analytics and decision-support dashboard; inspected evolving data structures and built a recurring pipeline to extract, transform, ingest, store, and query data for analysis, reporting, and visualization while coordinating directly with Entrata on technical issues.
- Evaluate software, cloud, automation, and AI technologies; convert findings into prototypes, internal process improvements, and client recommendations while managing concurrent engagements and mentoring an intern.

- Delivered R Shiny and React applications for multiple clients across analytics, data transformation, reporting/visualization, modeling,
and decision-support use cases, from requirements through testing, deployment, and support.
- Acquired clients and onboarded coworkers; led biweekly technical enablement on Docker, containerized development, cloud platforms,
and emerging tools; evaluated hosting approaches against client requirements, cost, maintainability, and operational complexity.

- Developed and marketed open-source and platform-as-a-service products for R Shiny developers spanning web application hosting, APIs, integrations, databases, and authentication/user management; developed an open-source R package using JWT-based authentication.
- Researched and implemented hosting architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and production automation used internally and in client environments; owned application delivery from requirements and architecture through release, maintenance, and support.

- Led a remote development team in Kenya while designing the database and API ecosystem supporting 3+ web and cross-platform mobile applications from design to app store deployment; taught React/React Native, established shared development practices, and guided distributed delivery.

- Applied Bayesian non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) to genomic and clinical data for Crohn's disease subtype classification;
developed R Shiny applications supporting eQTL/LocusZoom visualization and genetic-risk analysis.
