Lead Software Engineer

I build and ship independent full-stack products across frontend, mobile, backend, infrastructure, and distribution. My work includes Travel Safety, an offline-first React Native application with a Next.js administration platform and Supabase/PostgreSQL backend.

I also developed reLayout, an open-source macOS keyboard-layout correction utility built with Swift and AppKit. I implemented offline processing, automated signing and notarization, Sparkle updates, Homebrew releases, and localization support.

I led frontend development for an Angular back-office platform used by 30 operations specialists across three core workflows serving more than 5,000 end users. I managed a team of five engineers while acting as both technical lead and product owner.

I owned frontend and API requirements, architecture, planning, and release quality in a Kanban process delivering every 3–7 days. I led the Angular 17–19 upgrade, improved test coverage from 5–7% to 35%, migrated build workflows to esbuild, and reduced the Nx monorepo by removing two legacy applications.

I served as frontend lead for React administration tools supporting a ticketing and event-management platform with peak traffic of 300–1,000 requests per second and a 99.9% uptime SLA. I led a frontend team of five across development, code reviews, tooling, and architecture.

I worked directly with US-based client stakeholders to clarify requirements, agree release scope, and demonstrate increments. I repaired a failed webpack 5 migration and reduced hot-reload time from 15–20 minutes to 5–7 seconds.

I led React and Node.js delivery across enterprise engagements, managing a team of five engineers. My responsibilities included hiring, quarterly roadmap planning, technical leadership, and mentoring three developers to mid-level positions.

I delivered frontend and GraphQL API solutions using React, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, Apollo, AWS AppSync, Cognito, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps. I also ran a React and Apollo GraphQL proof of concept and negotiated technical requirements directly with customers.

I worked as a full-stack developer on two client products in parallel, delivering React and Node.js features over a nine-month period. My work included Redux, Redux-Saga, Google Maps JavaScript API, Docker Swarm, and Mocha.

I developed Node.js and browser components for flight aggregation and aircraft cabin planning, with containerized delivery. I also contributed to retail location-service functionality integrated with Google Maps.

I provided independent full-stack and infrastructure consulting for two client products. I worked with TypeScript, Node.js, Vue.js, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation, Jenkins, and Groovy.

I designed and delivered a blockchain payment service to production, including architecture, a Node.js API gateway, Vue.js customer portal, transaction queue, access controls, Redis caching, and payment-provider integration. I also owned CI/CD and AWS infrastructure during a monolith-to-microservices migration for a customer-support platform.

I began my career as a web developer at W3 Ukraine and progressed to Markup Team Lead and Head of Training. I designed a curriculum, ran candidate selection, and mentored more than 50 junior developers through a structured training program.

Across EPAM Systems, DAXX, Sigma Software, Svitla Systems, and other employers, I delivered single-page applications for private cloud, medical analytics, geolocation, browser gaming, and e-commerce products. I also traveled to client sites for discovery workshops and stakeholder requirements discussions.
