Senior / Lead Android Engineer

I contribute to a large-scale architectural refactoring of the Cart domain in the Wildberries Android application, which has over 100 million Google Play installs. My work includes Jetpack Compose migration and decomposition of the existing codebase.

I extract reusable Cart functionality into an internal SDK for adoption by other company applications. I also profile and resolve performance issues, build embedded Android applications for data collection terminals, and adapt solutions for new device models.

I was the sole Android and AOSP engineer for a secure corporate smartphone platform, owning Android application and platform development end to end. I developed a privileged system application and extended Android Framework functionality with custom services.

I implemented capabilities beyond standard Android Enterprise APIs, including location tracking, remote wipe and control, call and audio monitoring, VPN-based administration, and custom Device Owner functionality. I also defined development strategy and implemented CI/CD pipelines with backend, DevOps, and QA teams.

I co-founded a Smart TV design house and helped deliver production Android firmware deployed across five TV brands and approximately 80,000 consumer devices. I worked throughout the device lifecycle with Android/AOSP, BSP, and hardware engineering teams.

I contributed from custom MediaTek-based board development through firmware integration and mass production. I developed the broadcast TV application, core services, analytics, and crash-reporting integrations.

I led and rebuilt an Android team following a major transition. I hired three engineers and grew the team to five developers in approximately six months.

I redesigned engineering and backlog processes, reducing the app and platform bug backlog by approximately 90% within one month. I mentored engineers and owned delivery of ecosystem applications for the SaluteTV platform.

I built and launched the LiveTV application from scratch for a platform serving approximately one million users. I worked on Android application architecture and delivery for the television ecosystem.

I integrated OTT streaming into the DVB/OTA television stack and implemented channel mapping with third-party EPG data. I also integrated ecosystem applications with cross-functional product and platform teams.

I built and customized SystemUI, Launcher, SetupWizard, and Settings applications for Poynt POS terminals. My work included Android platform customization and application-level development for embedded payment devices.

I developed an embedded SDK for third-party vendors and resolved approximately 50% of cellular and network issues identified in an independent audit for European market expansion. I worked on performance, memory optimization, network stability, and platform integrations.

I developed pre-installed applications and a custom SDK for third-party E-Ink applications on YotaPhone 2 and YotaPhone 3. I worked with SystemUI, animations, Android internals, and dual-screen device functionality.

I contributed to system-wide power optimization that reduced device power consumption by approximately 10%. I also resolved issues identified during Google's CTS compatibility testing.

I developed features for a consumer Android social network application. I implemented mobile functionality using established Android networking, dependency injection, persistence, and reactive programming patterns.

I integrated Retrofit, Dagger, Realm, and RxJava into the application. I also performed code reviews and mentored interns.

I developed and maintained Android applications for client projects. My work covered feature implementation, maintenance, and application architecture using MVP patterns.

I used Nucleus, Dagger, Picasso, Retrofit, and OkHttp to build and support Android applications.
