Senior Software QA Engineer

● Design the tests to be implemented by quality assurance team, relay the results to the client or senior management along with recommendations.

● Responsible for ensuring continued quality of software solutions by performing regular tests to provide assurance that there are no bugs or security violations.

● Responsible for mentoring and nurturing the overall development of the software quality assurance team, including, training and ongoing development, coaching, selection and hiring process, the promotion and performance evaluation of the Software Quality Assurance staff.

● Manage day-to-day operations of the quality assurance team including: scheduling, application support, problem resolution, and enhancement requests, and ensure staff meet their annual training requirements and goals.

● Oversee the quality assurance process for all software projects to ensure solutions that are created meet acceptance criteria, standards are observed, the testing process has been completed before releasing code.

● Supervise ongoing quality assurance for internal and external websites and applications, and mobile applications.

● Coordinate deployments of all solutions including validation testing, integration testing, provide communication of releases, train solution administrators, validate software documentation, and support end user training.

● Oversee the software bug tracking process, including prioritization of software bugs reported and ensuring their timely resolution.

● Lead team meetings and conduct written and/or verbal presentations to department and senior management.
