I own end-to-end features across OpenAPI contracts, Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x services, Confluent Kafka with Avro, AWS SQS/SNS event flows, Kubernetes and ArgoCD GitOps deployments, and React/TypeScript frontend delivery.

I build cloud-native, hexagonal microservices using PostgreSQL, domain events, and the transactional outbox pattern. I have improved data-migration reliability, implemented tenant-aware authorization and read-model features, resolved PostgreSQL connection-pool issues, designed per-tenant queue fairness, and strengthened observability, testing, and security with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Testcontainers, Snyk, and gitleaks. I use AI coding agents and the Claude API throughout design, implementation, debugging, review, and test generation.

Led a cross-functional team of 10 developers, analysts, and QA/testers delivering highly available web services using Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and AWS services.

Decomposed a monolith into five independently deployable services and established CI/CD across seven applications using Docker, DigitalOcean, AWS, and GitLab CI. Improved engineering quality through reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, hiring, coaching, and mentoring junior engineers.

Owned technical direction and architectural standards for a clustered, event-driven microservices platform after promotion from Senior Developer to Software Architect.

Defined patterns for service decomposition, clustering, concurrency, and fault tolerance for high-availability and high-throughput Kafka-based workloads. Led architecture reviews and technology proof-of-concepts while mentoring senior and mid-level engineers in distributed-systems and microservices design.

Architected and built three clustered, highly available, multithreaded applications spanning 28 microservices using Java 11, Kafka, Akka, VoltDB, Oracle, Hazelcast, and Elasticsearch.

Designed a Kafka-based microservices architecture targeting 100K TPS with low-latency processing. Introduced CI/CD for fail-safe deployments and built observability dashboards with Grafana, Kibana, and Elasticsearch, as well as Angular/Spring Boot and Node.js/Vue.js dashboard applications.
