Backend Developer

Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Python, FastAPI, and Flask. Build and evolve business rules with emphasis on consistency, maintainability, and testability, while maintaining and refactoring legacy systems.

Develop corporate integrations involving Sankhya, PontoTel, and partner systems. Implement asynchronous and distributed processing with Celery and RabbitMQ; build persistence and caching solutions using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis; and optimize queries and integration workflows for high-volume operations.

Create data sanitization, pre-integration, auditing, and reporting workflows. Implement logging and observability practices to monitor, investigate, and troubleshoot production issues, and use Claude Code and OpenAI Codex to support development, debugging, refactoring, and test generation.

Supported the integration of more than 200 Sankhya client companies with the PontoTel platform, serving over 100,000 employees across processes including terminations, excused absences, leave management, and vacation management.

Worked on backend API and service development using Python, FastAPI, and Flask. Contributed to business-rule implementation, system maintenance, code refactoring, and automated testing.
