About

Professional summary

I am a Senior Software Engineer with more than 12 years of experience building scalable backend systems, full-stack products, data services, and AI-enabled developer tools. My background spans Alchemy, Twitch, and TubeMogul, where I have worked on products serving large-scale user and developer ecosystems.

I specialize in backend and distributed systems engineering using Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and cloud-native infrastructure. I have designed and delivered reliable services, internal platforms, monitoring dashboards, and developer-facing APIs.

At Alchemy, I contribute to blockchain data services, including RPC and Data API capabilities that use intelligent routing and predictive scaling. I also work on AI agent integrations that enable assistants and coding agents to access real-time on-chain data through MCP-based workflows.

Previously at Twitch, I led technical design for creator-facing experiences including Guest Star and Promotions products. I built services supporting tens of millions of daily users, improved chat and notification throughput, and mentored engineers through architecture reviews and implementation work.

I also bring practical machine learning and generative AI experience, including RAG, embeddings, agentic AI, LLM evaluation, model serving, and retrieval systems. I enjoy translating complex infrastructure and data requirements into scalable products that provide clear value to users and engineering teams.

Career history

Senior Software Engineer, Data Services Alchemy

I contribute to Cortex from the Data Services team, supporting an RPC and Data API platform that uses intelligent routing and predictive scaling to deliver blockchain data to developer applications.

I partner with engineering, infrastructure, go-to-market teams, and customers to identify high-value data use cases and prioritize roadmap investments. I also build internal dashboards and monitoring charts, contribute to on-chain AI agent initiatives, and spearhead MCP-based integrations that allow AI assistants and coding agents to discover and invoke real-time on-chain data APIs.

Senior Software Engineer Twitch

I led the technical design and rollout of Guest Star, a browser-based product enabling streamers and moderators to bring other Twitch users into live broadcasts. I also served as technical lead for creator-facing Promotions products deployed across Twitch surfaces for tens of millions of daily users.

I designed backend services for Twitch's IRL category, improved chat and notification scalability to increase peak throughput by 13%, and developed software for the Video Ad Experience team. In addition, I built internal monitoring dashboards, mentored engineers, guided technical design and code reviews, and developed reusable AI-agent integration tools.

Software Engineer, Machine Learning TubeMogul

I contributed software engineering work to the Optimizations team within the Machine Learning organization.

I helped add Facebook and Instagram video buying capabilities to TubeMogul, enabling advertisers to purchase and manage video campaigns across both social platforms.

Software Engineer Intern, RTB / Machine Learning TubeMogul

I built machine learning analysis tools and browser-based visualizations for real-time bidding and machine learning workflows.

My work used Hive, Python, Java, MySQL, Dropwizard REST services, JavaScript, and D3.js.

AMPT Emerging Tech Intern Turner Broadcasting

I developed mobile and Facebook applications for NBA, TNT, and HLN properties.

I used C#, Java, and HTML5 to support emerging technology initiatives.

Research Intern Microsoft Research

I built C# translation analysis tools and evaluated the Moses machine translation system across datasets.

This research work was documented at IWSLT 2011.
