Developed a C#/.NET desktop application for real-time network traffic capture, analysis, and visualization as part of a Systems Engineering academic project.
Implemented packet capture with SharpPcap and persistent data storage in MySQL. Built adaptive anomaly detection using averages, standard deviation, and dynamic thresholds, with protocol and IP filtering, anomalous pattern identification, and security event alerts.
Designed dashboards for speed, latency, bandwidth, and traffic by protocol. Added history management and report exports to PDF, Excel, and CSV, and performed performance and integration testing.
