Senior QA Engineer / SDET

I test Android, iOS, and web products across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios, including feature-flagged releases and multi-version experiments managed through Amplitude.

I built and maintain more than 300 mobile end-to-end tests using Espresso and XCUITest. I reported over 100 defects and helped reduce E2E test flakiness from more than 30% to 2–5%, improving release-validation reliability.

I use AI-assisted engineering for requirements review, test planning, scenario design, automation implementation, code review, and debugging. I work with AWS, Datadog, TestRail, CircleCI, and BrowserStack in an international engineering environment.

I led a four-person QA team and drove automation, release validation, regression strategy, and quality practices across microservices and agricultural-data workflows. I built and evolved a BDD ecosystem with more than 1,100 scenarios, external providers, and complex polling and data-processing flows.

I designed multi-wave parallel execution workflows using measured runtimes, centralized polling, state management, and rerun protocols. I implemented automation tooling for retry and polling contracts, test-data and fixture selection, file-based state, API validation, and failure analysis.

I migrated UI automation to Cypress, reducing a representative test cycle by eight hours, and improved GitHub Actions pipelines to reduce a test cycle from four days to two days. I developed Python and Behave API automation, Selenium UI automation, monthly performance testing, and CI/CD release-quality gates.

Since mid-2025, I applied AI-assisted workflows to implementation, investigation, refactoring, and code review, including repository guidance for controlled and verifiable agent-assisted changes.

I validated Android platforms using CTS, GTS, VTS, CTS AOSP, and STS, supported by Python and Selenium automation and extensive log analysis.

I reduced manual start-of-cycle work from 16 hours to two hours and end-of-cycle work from six hours to 30 minutes through automation and tooling. I was recognized as Employee of the Year in 2020.

I mapped failure modules, managed change requests, and automated log collection across more than one million test executions. I delivered tooling used by teams in Brazil, the United States, China, and India, while supporting training and technical leadership.

I performed functional, manual, regression, and exploratory testing for Android products.

I improved test-suite grouping and execution practices, reducing the scope of selected suites by 20% and enabling a faster execution cadence.

I worked with Jira and Agile processes, was recognized as a top resident, and was hired into the engineering team.
