I am a finance graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Finance) from African Bible College in Lilongwe, Malawi. I have practical experience supporting accounting and administrative operations, with a strong interest in financial management, public policy, and community development.
During my accounting internship at the Ministry of Lands and Housing, I processed client payments, maintained cash office records, reconciled daily transactions, and assisted with monthly revenue reporting. I also verified vouchers, approval letters, and payment records to support compliance and audit readiness.
I have developed foundational skills in financial reporting, budgeting, bank reconciliation, cash management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, data analysis, and financial record management. I am comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Sage, and QuickBooks.
Alongside my finance experience, I have served in Christian ministry and community programs in Malawi. As a Programs Coordinator for Ministry of Hope, I planned campus activities, delivered entrepreneurship and financial literacy training, coordinated outreach programs, and mentored orphaned children and families.
I bring strong communication, teamwork, leadership, organization, attention to detail, analytical thinking, integrity, and adaptability. I am motivated to contribute my finance and coordination skills in a role where I can support sound financial operations and meaningful community impact.
