Professional summary

I am a senior engineering and customer service professional with more than 27 years of experience across the energy, gas turbine, automotive, aerospace, and petroleum industries. I have led multidisciplinary teams, supported customers, and delivered engineering, quality, maintenance, and construction initiatives.

I specialize in product and project engineering, mechanical equipment coordination, design documentation, materials management, and compliance with industry codes and standards. I focus on reducing design rework, improving response times, and ensuring reliable execution from planning through implementation.

I have extensive leadership experience managing quality and customer service teams in Mexico and the United States, as well as collaborating with global teams in India, Poland, and the USA. I value participative leadership, accountability, professional ethics, and the development of capable, autonomous teams.

My background includes gas turbine lifecycle parts planning, database administration, equipment procurement and reception, manufacturing drawing development, BOM management, and construction-site reengineering. I have also managed workforces of more than 50 people during major industrial plant construction projects.

I am committed to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, cost reduction, First Time Yield, and continuous improvement. I bring advanced business English, Six Sigma Green Belt training, and an MBA to complement my mechanical and electrical engineering foundation.

Career history

Team Leader – Customer Service Axiem International

I lead the customer service team supporting field engineers with rapid service responses for gas turbine operations. I identify life-limited parts at risk and provide recommendations for their planning and replacement.

I maintain databases to ensure accurate gas turbine tracking, review new units, and collaborate on parts-list reviews and adaptations for specific electric generator markets. I coordinate database changes using event information supplied by the India team and classify recurring issues to improve replacement-parts planning.

Mechanical Coordinator Pemex Construction

I coordinated the reception, review, procurement, and maintenance of mechanical equipment during construction of a new Pemex delayed coking plant. I monitored daily progress, assigned tasks, and managed work teams of more than 50 people.

I performed on-site reengineering based on construction requirements, reviewed supplier manufacturing progress, and supported daily EHS system compliance. I also identified equipment issues early and supervised rehabilitation activities to maintain project continuity.

Project Engineering / Team Leader General Electric Energy

I led the quality team responsible for engineering design and the creation of manufacturing drawings for gas turbine products. I requisitioned parts and materials, maintained and updated material lists, and ensured compliance with codes and standards for destination markets.

I implemented programs that reduced response time to customer requirements and improved customer satisfaction. I also supported process digitization and strengthened team capability, helping teams in Mexico and India operate with greater autonomy.

Design Engineer General Electric Aircraft Engines

I prepared electronic models and manufacturing drawings for aircraft engine components. I collaborated with teams in the USA, India, and Poland to support design execution and on-time delivery for the GE90 unit.

I contributed to quality system implementation, First Time Yield initiatives, and PLM database maintenance. My work supported reliable engineering documentation and manufacturing readiness for aerospace parts.

Design Engineer Nissan Mexicana SA de CV

I designed and implemented changes to interior parts for nationally manufactured automotive models. I supported the development of new parts through implementation on the assembly line.

I contributed to cost-reduction efforts and maintained bills of materials to support manufacturing changes and product documentation.
