Staff Software Engineer

I am the staff owner for Lodging search and product pages, including SRP and PDP experiences across web and mobile applications.

I delivered an SRP/PDP redesign, compare mode, and Amplitude experiments for the booking flow. I also led a lodging inventory supplier migration with zero downtime using Ruby, TypeScript, Kotlin, AWS, React, and React Native.

I worked as a platform staff engineer focused on performance and scalability as the product grew.

I shipped AI-enabled workflow features, including scheduling and voice fill, and helped raise team standards through hiring, RFCs, engineering dojos, and code reviews. The stack included TypeScript, Next.js, Kubernetes, AWS, MongoDB, and GraphQL.

I built Partner Hub capabilities for hotel members, including wallet, campaign, and analytics features.

I migrated infrastructure from CloudFormation to Terraform and improved CI/CD practices on AWS. My primary stack was TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS, Terraform, and AWS.

I designed, built, productionized, and scaled backend systems for startup and fintech clients from end to end.

I migrated workloads from AWS EC2 to GCP Kubernetes with Helm to reduce infrastructure costs, and built APIs for gamification and Bitcoin payments. I used TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, GraphQL, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP.

I built partner ingestion pipelines for video, captions, thumbnails, and related media assets.

I helped decouple legacy monoliths to reduce maintenance and integration costs using Go, Node.js, AWS, and Elasticsearch.

I managed three engineering squads of approximately three engineers each, covering credit risk, anti-fraud, and pricing rule-engine domains.

I owned people management, product partnership, and technical architecture, while coaching new technical leads and managers. The stack included Kotlin, Java, MongoDB, and AWS.

I served as a technical lead with people-management responsibilities in logistics.

I strengthened logistics systems to maintain delivery operations during floods and street closures, reducing costs and protecting the customer experience. The stack included Java, Spring, Go, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

I built a chatbot platform with a BPM-style conversation engine, reporting capabilities, and integrations with WhatsApp, Telegram, Rocket.Chat, Watson, and Dialogflow.

The platform automated client flows and reduced call-center workload. I worked with Node.js, TypeScript, Kotlin, Java, Groovy, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

I led development of an event-sourced order-fulfillment system for satellite services, supporting sales, tracking, and onboarding workflows.

The work reduced dealer costs and onboarding time while improving operational visibility. I used Node.js, Java, Groovy, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.

I held software engineering and technical leadership roles at Dell and other product companies during my earlier career.

I worked primarily with Java, Java EE, Oracle, and WebLogic on enterprise software systems.
