Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

I was one of the core developers on a new CRM replacing a legacy system for a Canada-wide window and blinds retail network, and I owned the scheduling subsystem end to end: automated booking and distribution of on-site measurement appointments used by call-center operators and voice AI bots.

I designed the domain model from scratch: an appointment lifecycle state machine, multi-level booking configuration, and a distribution engine based on capacity, business hours and geographic zones. I integrated the voice AI bots through MCP, built a dead-letter inbox pattern with idempotent handlers so no incoming request was lost, and created an interactive service-zone editor on Uber H3 and deck.gl. I also maintained the legacy Yii2 system and migrated parts of it to Laravel.

Stack: PHP 8, Laravel, PHPUnit, PHPStan, Vue 3 with TypeScript, MySQL and MariaDB, Redis, Docker, Terraform, AWS Lambda in Go, MCP, OpenAPI. Most of the implementation went through AI coding agents under my direction and review.

For six years I developed backend APIs in PHP 7 and frontend interfaces in React and TypeScript for a rental automation platform serving the U.S. and Canadian markets: listing management, dynamic pricing, and integrations with Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO and external services. The platform ran on an in-house framework, so most of the work was on a large codebase without documentation.

I implemented Booking.com multi-room booking, License API and calendar synchronization, built pricing integrations for PriceLabs, DPGO and Wheelhouse, took over an unfinished VRBO integration and brought it to full API coverage, and developed an Elasticsearch real-time search system for approximately 100,000 properties with yearly price and minimum-stay calendars.

I developed custom call-center systems for banks and support departments: CRM functionality and agent workflows. I joined as an intern and became a key developer within three months.

I built agent workstations with dynamic call scripts and forms that showed customer data, orders and prompts in real time for inbound and outbound calls. I independently finished a stalled major-bank project in six months, handled complex regular-expression parsing and validation, and maintained the project responsible for 80% of company revenue.
