I lead application architecture and platform modernization for FindLaw. I defined migration patterns for moving more than 100 services from AWS to Internet Brands' internal Kubernetes-native deployment platform.

I designed release engineering workflows with automated versioning, build pipelines, artifact publishing, deployment orchestration, and promotion through QA, staging, and production. I also built Jenkins shared libraries, deployment APIs, migration utilities, PostgreSQL schema-discovery tooling, and patterns for ephemeral Kubernetes namespaces.

I act as a technical lead by mentoring engineers, presenting architecture proposals, producing documentation, and driving cross-team adoption of platform standards.

I built product features and backend services for Avvo.com, a U.S. legal marketplace, within a polyglot microservice architecture using Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Node.js, and Laravel.

I developed and evolved advertising and commercial systems connecting attorney products, advertising inventory, orders, billing, invoicing, sales workflows, and Salesforce integrations.

I designed Kafka-based event flows for real-time updates across more than 100 microservices and improved high-volume Elixir consumers with Broadway back-pressure. I also resolved critical production issues affecting advertising, billing, notifications, and Salesforce workflows.

I built full-stack business management features using Ruby on Rails and AngularJS for telecommunications and government clients.

I designed REST APIs and PostgreSQL-backed services for operational workflows and external integrations. I improved production stability through debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization.

I built backend services and REST APIs with Ruby on Rails and Node.js for a health and fitness analytics platform.

I integrated Fitbit, Jawbone, and Basis platforms to ingest and normalize activity and health data from third-party APIs. I designed PostgreSQL and MySQL data models, deployed services on AWS, and refactored legacy components to improve scalability, maintainability, and production reliability.
