Backend Developer

I am a Backend Developer with more than five years of freelance experience designing, building, and deploying production backend applications. I specialize in Python and PHP, with a focus on reliable REST APIs, relational database design, and cloud-based deployments.

I build backend solutions end to end, from gathering requirements and modeling data to implementing business logic, integrating third-party services, and supporting applications in production. My primary frameworks are Django, Flask, and Laravel.

I have delivered systems for scheduling, activity and user management, data administration, automated reporting, and payment processing. I have integrated Mercado Pago APIs to automate transactional workflows and reduce manual reconciliation work.

I work extensively with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, and SQLAlchemy to create efficient and maintainable data layers. I also use Redis and RQ to decouple long-running workloads from web requests and improve application responsiveness under load.

I am comfortable standardizing deployments with Docker and Linux across GCP, AWS, and VPS environments. I use Git for version control and aim to make releases repeatable, reliable, and easy to maintain.

My previous background in administrative and technical support strengthened my communication, organization, and cross-team coordination skills. I bring a structured, requirements-first approach to software delivery and enjoy taking ownership of projects from concept through production.
