Open-Source Developer and Privacy Advocate

I maintain and lead development of Predirect, a GPL-3.0 Manifest V3 browser extension with more than 270 GitHub stars. The extension redirects 30 tracked platforms, including YouTube, X, Reddit, Google, Instagram, and TikTok, to privacy-friendly frontends such as Piped, Nitter, Redlib, and SearXNG.

I designed a minimal-permission architecture and published the extension on Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons including Android, and Microsoft Edge. I also maintain automated instance health-checking and synchronization workflows through GitHub Actions.

I built JanSahay with Team Tejas at the TEJAS India Hackathon 2026 at GEC Sheikhpura. JanSahay is a Hindi-first welfare-scheme eligibility platform designed to help people in Bihar identify benefits for which they qualify.

I designed the application for rural users with offline-first behavior, 48px touch targets, Hindi text-to-speech, OTP-based profile verification, and deadline alerts. The TypeScript monorepo supports a React PWA and Android application, while a deterministic rule engine makes eligibility decisions and an LLM only rephrases responses.

I created and lead development of BEU Connect, an academic utility portal for Bihar Engineering University colleges. The platform centralizes syllabus resources, examination results, result analytics, and official alerts for engineering students.

I developed scraping and parsing workflows for past-year question papers, digitized scanned papers using OCR and vision-language models, and built a bulk result-data ingestion pipeline. I also optimized the frontend for fast mobile loading and smooth navigation at scale.

I lead development of chaind-cli, a sovereign AI agent daemon written in Go. It bridges messaging platforms including WhatsApp, Matrix, and Telegram directly to local AI agents through permission-gated Unix sockets.

The project is designed for secure, zero-cloud interaction with self-hosted language models. It avoids exposing open network ports and prioritizes local control and privacy.

I created and maintain listbrew, a real-time contact synchronization engine written in Python. It synchronizes contacts from Frappe directly into Listmonk.

I implemented automated CI/CD quality gates using Ruff, Semgrep, ESLint, PyUpgrade, and pip-audit to maintain code quality and security.

I lead technology and programs for Bodhya, a FOSS community aligned with FOSS United and Samagata. I help connect tier-2 and tier-3 college students in Bihar with open-source mentors, workshops, internships, and real-world projects.

I build production tooling for the community, including automated certificate generators, event portals, and Frappe/Listmonk synchronization integrations.

I lead website, database, and anchoring work for Navprayas, a student-run nonprofit society supporting education and development in Manpur Patwatoli, Gaya, Bihar. The organization serves more than 15,000 participants and has over 700 alumni.

I drove its first transition to online registration by integrating the Razorpay payment gateway for MTSE and other events. I also provide end-to-end support to students and parents using online forms and anchor annual ceremonies such as Pratibha Milan.

I am a core team member of Bihar's first FOSS United college club at GEC Sheikhpura. I help organize Git/GitHub workshops, Linux installation parties, and GSoC career conferences.

As an Arch Linux advocate, I have helped convert 15 student machines to Linux environments and terminal-based workflows.
