Cybersecurity Engineer

I own end-to-end SOC operations, including detection, investigation, remediation, recovery, documentation, and detection-rule tuning. I use Wazuh for SIEM monitoring, CrowdStrike for endpoint detection and response, and Microsoft Entra ID for identity-based threat containment and privileged-access oversight.

I also monitor network operations and infrastructure health with PRTG Network Monitor. I support production-system availability through proactive fault detection, uptime SLA monitoring, and rapid escalation of critical incidents.

I worked as an MSSP security consultant delivering network security engineering and architecture documentation for two major banking-sector clients operating in regulated critical-infrastructure environments. I deployed Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions using FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAnalyzer, site-to-site VPNs, and policy-based routing across 106 locations, including headquarters, disaster recovery sites, and branches.

I implemented FortiNAC with 802.1X/RADIUS and FortiAuthenticator with TACACS+ for secure endpoint admission and privileged network-device administration. I integrated Active Directory and MFA, created HLD and LLD documentation, and translated ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and audit requirements into network segmentation, NAC, and SD-WAN controls.

I developed a mobile application security testing framework that integrated LLM capabilities with MobSF static analysis and Frida dynamic instrumentation. The work supported more efficient mobile security testing and security research workflows.

I also built a real-time security monitoring and threat-visualization dashboard using MITMproxy for traffic analysis. In addition, I conducted penetration testing and vulnerability assessments and delivered technical reports with remediation recommendations.

I trained a machine-learning intrusion detection model using the UNSW-NB15 dataset and integrated it with Zeek for real-time network traffic analysis. This work focused on improving the detection of suspicious network activity.

I deployed the model into Secnology SIEM/SOAR to help automate incident-response workflows. The project provided early experience in AI-assisted threat detection and security automation.
