Backend Engineer

Owned backend development for the Call Journey Dashboard, defining service boundaries, API contracts, and data flow across services. Delivered the end-to-end request lifecycle from ingestion through timeline APIs for enterprise call-interaction tracking, including organizations with more than 5,000 users.

Improved a critical PHP API's p95 response time by approximately 15% through request-path profiling, database-query optimization, ORM restructuring, and Redis caching for high-read production endpoints. Developed and tested REST APIs for call timelines, interaction tracking, and recording retrieval in a microservice environment serving live traffic.

Implemented an event-driven transcript-processing pipeline using AWS Lambda and GPT APIs, with structured logging and execution-path monitoring for failure tracing. Also resolved recurring production issues across containerized services through log tracing, runtime inspection, and systematic root-cause analysis, and developed Django components for an internal MySQL-backed automation and dashboard system.

Helped split a monolithic trading platform into Django services for exchange connectivity, strategy execution, order management, and API delivery. This isolated exchange failures and enabled independent scaling of the order-management service under live trading conditions.

Built a real-time trading backend with Flask and CCXT to process live order-book data from multiple exchanges through asynchronous pipelines. Implemented rate limiting and failure-isolation measures, and designed standardized REST API request and response contracts during the Django migration.

Built CI/CD pipelines with Docker and GitHub Actions, including automated unit and integration tests and deployment workflows. Also contributed to a Django-based workplace camera system with live video capabilities and WebSocket communication between backend and frontend.

Worked in the AI Department on data preparation for computer vision and natural language processing projects. Built Python-based data pipelines using OpenCV and Pandas.

Performed data cleaning, deduplication, and feature extraction to prepare datasets for downstream AI and machine-learning workflows.
