Finance & Operations Specialist | Order-to-Cash | Accounts Receivable

I am a Finance and Commercial Operations professional with more than 20 years of international experience across Spain, Portugal, Romania, and the United Kingdom. I specialise in Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, billing, credit control, collections, cash application, reconciliations, and finance administration.

I manage customer financial operations end to end, including invoicing, payment allocation, overdue balance monitoring, dunning, credit-limit control, dispute investigation, and customer account reconciliation. I am comfortable working with enterprise accounts and collaborating with Finance, Sales, Operations, suppliers, and customers.

I have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, JD Edwards, Excel, and financial reporting. I use these tools to maintain accurate records, monitor account exposure, investigate discrepancies, and improve visibility of outstanding balances.

I am experienced in process improvement and process documentation, including reviewing existing ways of working, identifying gaps, and creating clear step-by-step instructions to support audit readiness, onboarding, and consistent execution.

I work independently, take ownership of priorities, and communicate effectively across international and cross-functional teams. My background includes finance operations, commercial administration, purchasing support, supplier administration, reporting, and customer service.

I am based in Madrid and available for remote EMEA or international opportunities. I bring multilingual communication skills in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French, along with a practical and detail-oriented approach to finance operations.
