Lead a multidisciplinary team of 11 engineers, working alongside Product Management and UX, responsible for 32 production systems supporting the fixed-income investment lifecycle. The platforms serve more than 1.2 million clients, approximately 9 million investment positions, and around 7,000 financial advisors, with a 99.5% availability target.

Manage one-on-ones, feedback, development plans, promotions, performance management, and hiring. Supported approximately eight promotions, including two Senior Engineer-to-Engineering Manager transitions, and participated in four successful hires. Maintain hands-on technical leadership across architecture, modernization, distributed systems, messaging, event-driven processing, incident readiness, deployments, observability, testing, and production stability.

Worked as a Solution Architect in the Credit Recovery Tribe, influencing the architectural evolution of approximately seven squads and 42 engineers without direct squad management responsibility.

Maintained the domain architectural blueprint and led solution reviews, governance, proofs of concept, and discussions on system boundaries, ownership, and integrations. Supported mainframe modernization into API-oriented services, adoption of the internal cloud platform, and introduction of Kafka as a corporate event platform. Participated in enterprise architecture forums with approximately 120 architects.

Provided technical leadership for mature platforms used by at least 10 utility companies and serving millions of consumers, while retaining direct implementation responsibilities.

Defined technical approaches, decomposed and delegated work, mentored engineers, interacted with customers, and contributed to troubleshooting, deployments, and system configuration. Led the containerization of three core systems using Docker and Docker Compose, enabling QA teams to create tailored environments for different client versions and configurations.

Directed a construction-materials retail company with approximately 65 employees, overseeing finance, people, purchasing, sales, customers, suppliers, logistics, deliveries, and IT.

Managed approximately 15 direct reports and coordinated workforce needs, employee relations, organizational decisions, and daily operations. Developed practical business leadership experience across financial, commercial, operational, and people-management functions.
