Delivery Lead, Solvency II Reporting and Technical Projects AXA XL
Led the stabilization and transition of Solvency II reporting to India, improving a process that had been consistently delayed and affected by late changes. Centralized and standardized more than 45 reporting schedules across six teams and approximately 15 stakeholders through consistent processes, dry runs, exception logs, SOPs, and parallel-run validation.
Led finance and regulatory reporting transitions and scope expansions, including Credit STEC, XLB Available Capital, Ireland Credit STEC, and additional Solvency reporting activities. Co-led the migration of XLB from the Standard Formula to the Internal Model and adapted Solvency II balance-sheet reporting for IFRS 17 impacts.
Delivered finance systems and control improvements, including migration of balance-sheet reporting from Excel to HFM, redesigned hierarchies and account mappings, and established auditable change trails. Remediated a regulatory reporting issue affecting approximately $200M and historical intercompany imbalances totaling approximately $500M across seven legal entities.
Built the Solvency reporting function from two to 15 people and currently lead five direct reports. Own hiring, team evaluation, performance management, and promotion recommendations while partnering with Finance, Risk, Capital Modelling, ALM, Finance Operations, and IT.
