About

Professional summary

I am an accomplished HR leader and business partner with more than 25 years of experience in human resources, employee relations, strategic planning, compensation, and organizational development. I have supported diverse organizations ranging from startups and hospitality ventures to healthcare, government, education, and professional employer organizations.

I have led complex employee relations, litigation, investigations, performance management, benefits, workers' compensation, and employment-law initiatives. My experience includes managing FLSA, EEOC, unemployment, grievance, disciplinary, and union-avoidance matters across multi-state and international client environments.

I have a strong record of building and scaling HR functions. At Employer Solutions Group, I helped grow the organization from 400 to 15,000 employees, developed HR outsourcing solutions for clients nationwide, managed large teams, and created compensation, selection, safety, and benefits programs.

In addition to HR leadership, I bring entrepreneurial and operational experience as a managing partner and president in hospitality and development businesses. I have conducted market research, developed hotel projects, formed strategic partnerships, secured financing, and recruited teams to deliver business objectives.

I also have extensive experience in higher education and public service. I taught employment law and human resources management courses, contributed to HR strategy at NASA and the U.S. Marshals Service, and hold graduate degrees in business administration and public administration.

I am interested in applying my HR business partnering, leadership, and scale-up experience to a purpose-led organization where I can strengthen people practices, workplace culture, performance, and sustainable growth.
