Data Engineer / Business Risk Analyst

I am a Computer Engineering professional and Business Risk Analyst with hands-on experience in data engineering, automation, and credit-risk operations in the banking sector.

I currently work at Itaú Paraguay, where I analyze, monitor, debug, transform, and optimize large volumes of data for strategic decision-making in the Credit area. My work includes building data structures, improving database performance, and automating critical operational processes.

I specialize in SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, SSIS, Power BI, DAX, and SAS Enterprise Guide. I have led the migration of complex legacy SAS processes to SQL Server, improving maintainability, traceability, processing efficiency, and operational resilience.

I develop ETL processes, automated controls, monitoring solutions, data-quality validations, executive reports, and alerting mechanisms. I have also implemented high-volume data loading processes involving more than 70 million records.

I work with Agile and Scrum methodologies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across technology, audit, risk, and business functions. I value analytical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and clear technical documentation.

I am completing my Computer Engineering degree at Universidad del Norte, with a thesis focused on Artificial Intelligence and programming in multiple languages. I am interested in continuing to grow in data engineering, analytics, automation, and risk technology roles.
