Senior Surveying, Geomatics & GIS Engineer

I perform advanced spatial and descriptive analysis using ArcGIS Pro and QGIS for the Wadi Araba Development Company infrastructure program. My work includes geospatial trend analysis, hotspot detection, and optimization of regional land-use allocation models.

I design, update, and maintain enterprise geodatabases, relationship classes, and metadata structures that improve engineering decision-making and data accessibility. I also lead field campaigns for advanced spatial data collection and topographic mapping.

I managed end-to-end spatial data collection for multimillion-dollar highway and utility infrastructure projects, using Trimble GPS/GNSS RTK receivers and Total Stations. I processed LiDAR point clouds, remote sensing imagery, and topographic measurements in ArcGIS Pro and QGIS for site-suitability studies and 3D terrain modeling.

I automated ETL workflows with Python to load multi-source field survey data into centralized corporate geodatabases, reducing integration timelines by 40%. I also developed web GIS applications and ArcGIS Dashboards integrated with Field Maps, while conducting spatial QA/QC, topology validation, and CRS transformations to meet Canadian geomatics standards.

I structured and managed surveyed field data in relational geodatabases using ArcGIS Pro. I performed proximity analysis and routing models to identify engineering design conflicts and improve infrastructure planning.

I created custom ArcGIS Survey123 mobile collection forms and relational XLSForm schemas to automate field-to-office asset attribute mapping. I also completed high-precision surveys, topographic baselines, and layouts for utility and irrigation networks using Leica Total Stations and automatic levels.

I conducted geostatistical analysis, IDW and Kriging interpolation, and hotspot detection in QGIS to identify spatial network vulnerabilities and support predictive asset maintenance. I addressed data-sharing interoperability requirements with public-sector stakeholders through coordinate projection and spatial reference transformations.

I supervised field data collection for water-line and deep-sewage networks using Leica GPS/GNSS systems and Total Stations. I also completed post-construction as-built audits and digital leveling, producing compliant GeoJSON and Shapefile deliverables for municipal databases.

I maintained and governed the corporate telecom asset inventory geodatabase, ensuring accurate spatial references, topology cleanup, and attribute quality for underground utility infrastructure. I used ArcGIS Online applications to model network connectivity between telecom hubs and residential sectors.

I delivered technical training on ArcGIS Field Maps and GNSS data-logging practices for field crews. I also supervised excavation, micro-tunneling alignment, and geospatial tracking activities for fiber-optic and telecommunications networks using high-precision Total Stations.

I used ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD Civil 3D for raster surface manipulation, terrain modeling, and integration of CAD drawings into enterprise GIS environments. I performed proximity and buffer analyses for heavy structural footings and created technical maps for stakeholder review.

I managed geomatics frameworks during the foundation and structural construction phases of the New Salt Hospital project. My field duties included high-precision topographic mapping, structural stake-outs, benchmark installation, and leveling using automatic levels and Total Stations.
