I am a civil works professional with a Bachelor's degree in Rural Construction Engineering and Land Use Planning and practical experience in municipal infrastructure, construction inspection, and cost estimation.
I have worked on building, road, urban planning, and infrastructure projects, carrying out technical inspections and reviewing architectural and structural designs. I am experienced in preparing quantity take-offs and detailed construction cost estimates.
I have hands-on construction site experience, including concrete quality-control testing, soil laboratory analysis, trenching, scaffolding setup, and compaction operations. I am comfortable working outdoors and supporting physically demanding manual work.
Safety is a core part of my work. I have coordinated occupational health and safety activities during design and construction phases and supervised workers using pneumatic tools, jackhammers, and compactors.
I also teach technical subjects in Rural Construction Engineering and Land Use Planning, helping students apply engineering and planning best practices. I am reliable, safety-conscious, and accustomed to collaborating with site teams.
I am seeking temporary construction opportunities in the United States through the H-2B program. Portuguese is my native language, and I have working English proficiency at B1/B2 level.
