Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

I work on Iteris's connected vehicles (V2X) platform, supporting real-time vehicle messaging, time-series analytics, and Vue 3/TypeScript dashboards. The platform uses SAE J2735/J3224 messaging, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MySQL, Redis, Apache Kafka, and Spark workloads on AWS EMR.

I delivered roadside-sensor reporting across MySQL, Laravel, Spark/EMR, and Vue 3, and resolved a reflection-related job-class issue. I investigated critical streaming and data-quality problems, including Kafka lag behavior, duplicate writes caused by a Spark job and Go service, missing lag metrics, and an out-of-memory crash loop affecting production ingestion.

I automated SDLC workflows with Claude Code using MCP servers, skills, hooks, rules, and subagents, with safeguards that block production writes. I also upgraded end-of-life dependencies, including PHP 8.3, Laravel 12, and Vite 7, and introduced Vitest as a CI build gate.

I worked on eBay's Feedback Reviews platform, designing and maintaining seller-feedback and product-review experiences. I implemented a large-scale CSV feedback-ingestion pipeline with batch- and row-level validation, improving processing reliability and data accuracy.

I developed feedback-note visibility logic with auditability and regulatory compliance in mind, prepared QA datasets through the S3P database, and conducted functional and end-to-end testing across local, staging, and production environments. I managed deployments and monitoring through Jenkins, eBay Cloud Platform, Grafana, CAL logs, and eBay AppMon.

I also supported the M2M Platform migration to Spring Boot 3 and Raptor3. I resolved dependency conflicts, addressed SonarQube technical debt, investigated production incidents, prepared test data, deployed components through feature pool and production environments, and monitored service health.

I developed and maintained Java microservices for Scotiabank's Credit Cards & Rewards backend. I applied Hexagonal Architecture and Spring Boot/WebFlux patterns to support credit-card and rewards initiatives.

I performed technical analysis for backend features, coordinated end-to-end integration with web, mobile, and QA teams, and monitored service-level objectives through Dynatrace. I wrote unit tests, managed Jenkins CI/CD deployments, and monitored releases and service health using Argo CD.

I reduced technical debt with SonarQube and used tools including Checkmarx, Fortify, SoapUI, Postman, Swagger, Redis, JFrog, Anthos, and HashiCorp tooling.

I worked across cybersecurity, public-sector, e-commerce, telecommunications, and application-support projects. In the SSDLC Office for clients including CTTI, ICO, and RENFE, I led SAST, DAST, and SCA security audits using Fortify, OWASP ZAP, Dependency-Check, and Snyk, and remediated vulnerabilities in Java applications.

I automated vulnerability-remediation workflows and developed cybersecurity tools with Python. I also acted as technical lead for Angular frontend and Java backend teams, helping improve code quality, solve technical problems, and document security audit outcomes.

For Junta de Andalucía, Inditex/Zara, Claro, and the Spanish Ministry of Justice, I developed REST, SOAP, JMS, and microservice integrations; built Angular and Spring Boot features; wrote JUnit and Mockito tests; managed deployments; performed integration and acceptance testing; and reduced technical debt with SonarQube. I additionally supervised a 15-person team focused on CMMI DEV/5 quality metrics.

I worked on UcuMail, an in-house email-marketing product designed to improve and optimize company sales strategies. I delivered full-stack web development using Laravel, Vue.js, SCSS, Node.js, and Express.js.

I developed REST APIs using Mongoose and Sequelize ORM libraries and managed MongoDB and MySQL databases. I also ensured responsive behavior and usability across devices and browsers through responsive web design and UX/UI-focused implementation.
