I am a Computer Science student with hands-on experience in desktop support, PC building, network troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical assistance. I am seeking an entry-level Help Desk Technician role where I can apply my technical foundation and continue developing real-world IT support experience.
I have built and configured approximately five custom PCs, including hardware assembly, Windows installation, BIOS/UEFI configuration, driver installation, and peripheral setup. I use systematic troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
I have developed a networking home lab using OPNsense and pfSense. Through this project, I have practiced configuring DHCP, VLANs, firewall rules, network segmentation, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
I am familiar with Windows 10/11, Linux, Microsoft 365, printers, AV equipment, phones, password and account support, and online-course support. I can troubleshoot connectivity and DNS issues using tools such as ping, ipconfig, tracert, and nslookup.
My customer service experience has strengthened my communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. I am comfortable explaining technical information clearly, assisting users with equipment issues, and working efficiently in fast-paced environments.
I am passionate about IT, a fast self-directed learner, and eager to contribute to a support team while expanding my technical knowledge.
