Senior Manager - Cybersecurity, IT Risk and Assurance

I lead and deliver IT external and internal audit, IT assurance, cybersecurity, information protection, business resilience, architecture and infrastructure audit, third-party vendor assessment, and IT project management engagements. I manage client relationships, engagement delivery, teams, resources, proposals, methodologies, and thought-leadership activities.

I have led global SOX IT audit, IT attestation, SOC reporting, vendor-risk, and IT controls programs for multinational clients across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Germany, India, South Africa, and other markets. My responsibilities include reviewing IT general controls, automated controls, access controls, change management, incident management, backup and recovery, production access, physical and environmental controls, and application controls.

I served as a core member of the Risk Management Committee and Product Management Group, supporting commercial bureau products while ensuring alignment with risk, compliance, and information security requirements. I managed risk profiling for development projects across compliance, business, IT, finance, and strategic risk areas.

I acted as a product-team point of contact for internal and external information security audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, ISO 27001 risk assessments, and ISMS activities. I mobilized internal teams and vendors to execute security projects, manage scope, schedules, costs, and compliance gaps, and support regulatory audits including Reserve Bank of India requirements.

I worked on IT assurance and external IT audit engagements for multinational clients in sectors including electrical equipment, electronics, pharmaceuticals, banking, healthcare, retail, engineering services, and automotive manufacturing. I assessed IT general controls and application controls across legacy applications, infrastructure, databases, operating systems, networks, and supporting utilities.

I led and supported SOX compliance, SOC 1 Type 2, ISAE 3402, and vendor assessment engagements. I contributed to centralized offshore delivery models, control deficiency identification, remediation support, team coordination, resource optimization, and improved engagement efficiency.

I provided secure administration for Windows infrastructure supporting the core banking project of a major Indian bank. I ensured compliance with IT processes and implemented control procedures to mitigate operational and security risks.

My responsibilities included audit support, patch management, and antivirus support for more than 130 Windows servers hosted across data center and disaster recovery sites. I received a Best Employee award and achieved Microsoft Certified Professional certification with a perfect score.

I co-founded and led a web-hosting business, with end-to-end responsibility for delivering reliable and affordable hosting solutions to customers worldwide.

I built the business from inception to more than 100 global customers within three years, overseeing service delivery, customer support, operations, and growth.

Completed PGDM (MBA) with a GPA of 7.22/10. Ranked in the top 10% of 312 students and headed the TAPMI Systems Group.

Completed B.Tech. with a GPA of 7.85/10. Ranked in the top 10% of 570 students and achieved 9/10 in Computer Programming.

Completed Class XII with 89.67% and ranked 2nd out of 600 students in the institute.

Completed Class X with 86.40% and ranked 1st out of 300 students in the school.
