Java Backend and Full Stack Engineer

I build and maintain full stack features for a meeting-place optimizer on a large Java codebase using Apache Wicket, Tomcat, and MySQL. The product requires high availability and sub-second response times.

I introduced SonarQube and lead the code-quality gate for code smells, vulnerabilities, and technical debt. I helped reduce more than 1,000 critical and high-impact issues to zero.

I raised unit-test coverage from zero to 95–98% and own the validation pipelines and testing process supporting project standards.

I shipped an Android application in Flutter before moving into backend Java development. I built QualityOps, a tool for evaluating and visualizing software quality metrics.

I developed core QualityOps features with Java, Spring, MySQL, and Gradle using test-driven development and stakeholder requirements. I also reworked underlying algorithms to improve speed.

I contributed to CAST, a cross-team test automation project using Spring and MySQL. I was named Employee of the Month in March 2024 for bug-resolution speed and code quality.

I taught and mentored more than 100 students in reinforcement learning, convolutional neural networks, neural networks, and deep learning while working part time alongside my main job.

I co-developed curriculum content and added real-world applications to complement theoretical material.

I reviewed deep learning projects for medical image analysis, including model architecture choices, training procedures, and evaluation metrics.

I provided algorithmic feedback that helped improve model accuracy.

Thesis: Designing an Embedded System for Activity Recognition using a Surveillance Camera. I collected a custom dataset because no public dataset was available for the research.
